Increases to statutory Awards

The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2026  has now been made.  The increases will be effective from 6 April 2026, and include the following.

• The limit on a week’s pay rises from £719 to £751
• The maximum compensatory award for ordinary unfair dismissal rises from £118,223 to £123,543
• The award for unlawful inducement relating to trade union membership or inducement relating to collective bargaining rose from £5,735 to £5,993.
